I was looking at the photos from the filming of Snowgum Films second short Rincewind film and this one just jumped out at me. I love it, maybe it's the expression? Anyway, I had to make a wallpaper out of it. I thought I'd post it here while I was at it. :)

Sorry David Jason. You may be a great actor, and one that I grew up watching, but Troy Larkin's Rincewind wins. :judge:

I have to agree. Troy Larkin looks just as the Rincewind in my imagination. ^^
I didn´t like David Jason in the Colour of Magic movie.
Yeah and the end of `Run Rincewind Run´is just hilarious. XD

My personal vision of Rincewind is generally closer to Kidby's, but Troy is the closest I've ever seen in a real life version. Close enough certainly for me to buy him in the role. :)

I think that, for me at least, that was one of the main problems with David Jason. He was just too familiar. I was so aware that I was just watching someone playing a part, which stops you from really believing in the character (unlike Susan in The Hogfather who was wonderful). Well, that and the fact that he just wasn't the right person physically.

No wonder this movie Rincey is much better than sir Jason's... It's just... David Jason is really good Albert, ya know... And that's the problem :)
